Quinta Estação a Restaurant with History

Our restaurant was built on the former premises of the former and defunct “Rádio Madeira”. In the process of renovating the building we tried to pay homage to this history, and that is why we decided to maintain the original facade of the building.
The name Quinta Estação came naturally, when the temporary communication was developed that covered the work's protection signs that opened to the outside. One of the phrases used was “the year has four seasons, here you will find the fifth”.
The fact that there was a radio station there, called “Rádio Madeira”, which was emblematic in the Autonomous Region of Madeira served as the motto for using the word “Station” in the name. This dichotomy between weather station and radio station was preponderant in defining the designation.
From a poetic point of view, a certain romanticism is instilled, by elevating the Quinta Estação Restaurant, to a state of sublime well-being that is the positive sum of the 4 seasons and which itself becomes a musical season.
A building with history, where we invite you to create yours!
